For the words you’ll want to hear again.

By Elias Choi-Buttinger

A mountain ceremony in the Dolomites

Small celebrations welcome

Just the two of you, or a gathering of your closest people. Your celebration doesn’t need to be big to be worth filming.

Austria and the Alps

I’m based in Austria. Tell me where you’re imagining your day, whether you have a particular mountain in mind or are still exploring.

Your day comes first

The filming fits around the experience you want to have. There’s space to pause, be with each other and enjoy the place you came all this way to see.

Some memories have a sound.

You might remember what you promised, but what about the way your partner’s voice sounded saying it? Or the laugh that interrupted your carefully written vows? A film gives those moments somewhere to live. And if you’re celebrating away from family, it gives you something deeply personal to share when you’re ready.

You don’t need to know how to pose

We can walk, talk and find something to do together before asking anything of the camera. I’ll offer clear, gentle direction when you need it, so you’re never left wondering what to do.

A film with its own rhythm

I look for the small gestures as well as the big moments. In the edit, the pace of your day, your voices and the landscape help shape how the story unfolds.

A familiar face throughout

From your first ideas to the finished edit, you work with me. Bring your questions, half-formed plans and concerns; we can exchange messages or arrange a call as your day takes shape.

Already have a photographer?

Tell me who you’re working with. We can discuss timing and space for both of us, so you aren’t pulled between competing instructions. When you book me for film, that is my focus.

A mountain day that works in practice.

Somewhere you’ll enjoy being

A dramatic view is only part of the decision. We’ll consider the walk, access, privacy and how comfortable you’ll feel in your wedding clothes. You don’t have to choose a difficult hike to have a beautiful setting. My location guides are a useful place to start.

Alternatives before you need them

Mountain weather can change. We’ll discuss alternatives for the route, timing or ceremony spot before the day, and adjust around the conditions. If a change would affect your date or the agreed coverage, we’ll talk through what’s possible together.

Choose your moments before your hours.

What belongs in your day?

Getting ready together, seeing each other for the first time, walking to your ceremony, staying for the last light: which parts matter most to you? We’ll build the coverage around those priorities, allowing time to travel between places and enjoy them.

Who would you love beside you?

If a few loved ones are joining you, their comfort and access belong in the plan too. Let me know about a reading, a toast or a family tradition you’d like recorded. We’ll agree what fits within your coverage rather than leaving an important moment to chance.

A few things worth talking through.

Will we be able to hear our vows?

Recording your voices is part of the planning, alongside the location and the light. We’ll consider wind, nearby noise and where you’ll stand, and talk through the recording setup before the ceremony. When the moment comes, your attention can stay with each other.

What if some words are just for us?

Tell me if there are moments you don’t want filmed, or words you’d rather keep out of an edit you share with others. We can agree those boundaries beforehand or on spot. Permission to use your film in my portfolio or on social media is a separate choice.

Meet the musicians I work with

A cello beside your vows, the deep sound of a didgeridoo, or a song that gathers everyone together: meet some of the musicians I work with. We can explore what suits your celebration. Their performances are booked separately from film coverage.

Bring that performance into your film

My experience making music videos and films with live musicians opens up something special for your wedding film: hearing the performance that accompanied your day. If you’d love to include it, we’ll plan the recording and arrange permissions with the musicians beforehand. The music can become part of the memory you return to.

What you’ll take home

A film to sit down and watch together, your ceremony to keep in full, and shorter edits to share. Every film package includes the following:

Your wedding film · approximately 4–6 minutes
Your day shaped into a cinematic story, bringing together its atmosphere, your connection and the moments that carry the most meaning.

Your ceremony recording · up to 60 minutes
A separate recording of your ceremony and vows, so you can hear your words and experience the moment again from beginning to end. Simply and beautifully edited in my signature colour style, with the focus on what happened and what was said. We’ll agree which parts of your ceremony to record before your day.

A short highlight film · approximately 60–90 seconds
A compact edit in horizontal format to share with family and friends, and return to whenever you like.

Three vertical reels
Three short portrait-format videos drawn from your day’s footage, edited for Instagram and other short-form platforms.

The wedding film and highlight film lengths are approximate. The ceremony recording covers up to 60 minutes of the ceremony agreed in advance. Full recordings of other speeches are not automatically included.
